kay deerman

With 45 years of experience as a Physical Therapist, Kay Deerman opened Palm City Physical Therapy, in the Oak Hammock Professional Plaza in Palm City, FL. 

​

Her office includes private exam rooms, as well as a large exercise room designed to facilitate highly individualized, evaluations and treatment. With the help of her team, they provide traditional modalities of physical therapy.

Joanne, originally from New York, graduated and began her career as a PTA in 1980. She has worked in various settings, including pediatrics, skilled nursing facilities, home health and outpatient. She has been a part of the Palm City Physical Therapy team since 2002. In her time off, she is an avid golfer, not so good bowler, pickleball player, and enjoys spending time at the beach.

Lisa is a Florida native, graduating from Fort Lauderdale High School. She began her career as a Massage Therapist, before completing the PTA program at Broward Community College in 2001. She has worked in various settings including home health, skilled nursing rehabilitation, orthopedic, pediatric and outpatient facilities. Lisa joined the team at Palm City Physical Therapy in 2021, and appreciates the intimate setting that this office provides its patients. 

Marcela is a Florida girl, but is originally from Brazil. She graduated from the PTA program at Indian River State College in 2021. In February 2022, Marcela joined the team at Palm City Physical Therapy, and continues to enjoy working with her patients. When she isn't at work, Marcela spends time with and traveling with her large family.
